Bob Dylan El Poeta De Minnesota

Bob Dylan, (Robert Allen Zimmerman), es un músico, cantante y poeta estadounidense. Es una de las mayores figuras en la música popular y como tal se le reconoce, siendo uno de los compositores más influyentes del siglo XX. Quizás sus mejores trabajos sean de la década de los 60, en la cual se convirtió en cronista informal de los conflictos estadounidenses. También se le conoce por revolucionar el concepto de single que tenian las discograficas con "Like a Rolling Stone" de seis minutos de duración. Muchas de sus primeras canciones son himnos antibelicistas y de los movimientos civiles de la época. El álbum de estudio "Modern Times" se publica en 2006 y entra directamente en el primer puesto de la lista Billboard 200. Según la revista musical Rolling Stone, el álbum es disco del año .

 

En sus primeras letras aborda temas sociales y filosóficos que delatan una fuerte influencia literaria. Su estilo desafia los estandares de la música pop convencional mediante mensajes que venían influidos por la "contracultura" de la época. En sus composiciones muestra una firme admiración por los distintos generos de la música americana. Interpreta su repertorio en directo mediante guitarra, teclado y armónica. Está de gira de forma casi permanente desde finales de la década de 1980, en la que se conoce como el "Never Ending Tour". La busqueda de la perfeccion en sus grabaciones de estudio es una de las señas de identidad a lo largo de su carrera. Generalmente se considera que su mayor contribución a la música es la composición y escritura de canciones. Dylan ha sido reconocido y premiado por sus composiciones, interpretaciones y grabaciones a lo largo de toda su carrera.

 

Sus discos consiguen varios Grammys, Globos de Oro y premios de la Academia y su nombre está en el Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll entre otros. Es Caballero de la Orden de las Artes y las Letras de Francia desde 1990 y según la revista "Time" es una de las cien personas más influyentes del siglo XX. Alcanza el segundo puesto de los 100 mejores artistas de todos los tiempos en la lista de 2009 elaborada por la revista Rolling Stone. Ganó en España el Premio Príncipe de Asturias de las Artes en su edición de 2007. Recibió en 2008 el reconocimiento honorario del Premio Pulitzer por su "profundo impacto en la música popular y en la cultura americana". Desde 1996 diversos autores y académicos le nominaron para la candidatura del Premio Nobel de Literatura, premio que finalmente consiguió en 2016.
